Marina Blue Nursery proudly announces the arrival of a new sweet baby girl Ginger!
Baby Ginger was born on March 20, 2009
Weight: 5,95 lbs (2. 700 kg)
Length: 20 inches (50 cm)
Sweet baby girl Ginger started her life as PROTOTYPE of a new doll kit "Ginger" created by world famous doll artist Lilianne Breedveld for Petra's Dolls.
I want to thank Petra Jansen for letting me reborn this wonderful newborn baby girl!
Ginger's head and limbs are made of soft vinyl. She has 3/4 arms and full legs.
Ginger's body is a jointed doe suede body.
She is painted with Genesis paints and mediums to achieve realistic look and 3d effects.
I took many pictures in the daylight and using daylight lamps to show how she looks as close to the reality as possible!
Ginger's body and limbs were weighted with poly pellets, tiny glass beads and fiber fill of the highest quality to feel and weight like a real baby. I never use sand in my babies!
Ginger has a magnetic pacifier and a magnetic hair bow.
Ginger's hair has been both painted and ultra micro rooted, only 1-2 hair straws at a time with the highest quality premium slightly wavy dark brown mohair of professional quality. It is so soft and feels just like real baby hair. The hair has been sealed on the inside with waterproof glue so it can be brushed, gently moistened and styled in many different ways!
I use the thinnest possible barbless rooting needles from Germany and it takes many hours and days until I feel that I am happy with the result ...
Ginger's eyes are mouthblown glass eyes from Lauscha, Germany. The color is dark brown.
Little Ginger wears size Newborn clothes and it will be fun to buy real baby clothes for her.
I use only the best quality non-toxic art products for my babies.
