Lucas was painted with many transparent layers of Genesis Heat Set colors to get a real baby look. As well as gentle veining, creases and blushing are the result of many hours and days of work. I try to use all new reborning techniques (such as berrymakers) to achieve as much realism as possible.

Lucas's head and limbs are made of soft vinyl from The Little dreams Collection, Germany. He has 3/4 limbs and a soft cuddly body which was weighted with poly pellets and micro fiber of the highest quality to feel and weight like a real baby. His body is jointed and fully poseable.

I never use any sand or "baby fat" in my babies! They can travel safely abroad :)

Lucas's nose was gently opened so he is a breather now :) His lips were colored in many transparent layers and sealed for a very natural look. Even a little "drool" was added for realism :)

Lucas's little fingers and toe nails: the nail beds were realistically colored, and very softly off-white colored tips were painted and sealed for a freshly clipped look.

Lucas's hair has been ultra micro rooted, only 1-2 hairs at a time with the highest quality premium Strawberry blond mohair. It is so soft and feels just like real baby hair. The hair has been sealed on the inside with waterproof glue so it can be brushed and gently styled.

I use thinnest possible barbless rooting needles from Germany and it takes many hours and days until I feel that I am happy with the result ...

Lucas's eyelashes are also micro rooted. I decided to leave them wispy exactly like the eyelashes real babies have :)

Lucas has a magnetic pacifier so care should be taken around electrical equipment and for people having pacemakers. The magnets can be removed on request after the auction's end.

I took Lucas's pictures both inside and outside to give a full idea of what he looks like. I used no flash. All the pictures are taken in as natural light as possible.

Little Lucas wears size 0-3 clothes and it will be fun to buy real baby clothes for him. He looks so cute wearing his Disney Pooh set :)
